Let’s go on a sustainability journey, together.

Veda de Mar is a beachwear brand with its roots in Colombia, a country rich in natural beauty from the Andes mountains to the Amazon rainforest to the Pacific and Caribbean beaches. Growing up in this charming country made us aware of the importance of taking care of our planet.

We know what doesn’t work for our planet: the current fashion and textile industry. This industry is one of the world’s most polluting. Geared towards fast fashion with clothing designed and manufactured for rapid trend turnover where items become easily outdated and disposed of, the industry has a considerable environmental toll.

We are breaking up with the industry standard of fast fashion. Instead, we’re committed to slow fashion and being a forward thinking, sustainably operated business. That means our clothing, shoes and accessories are designed for longevity, with trendless designs and resource efficiency.

But that’s not all. A key component of sustainability is giving things a second life. As a company, we want to reduce the number of items filling up our landfills through upcycling. Have a gently used pair of shoes or bathing suit that you don’t use and don’t know what to do with? That’s where we come in—we’ll find a new home for them.

We’ll give your shoes to children and teens in underdeveloped cities in Colombia, bringing a smile back to their faces, improving their sense of self-worth and encouraging more physical activity. And we’ll give your swimwear to women's organizations and homeless shelters throughout Colombia.

We’ll accept your donations of gently used shoes (of any size) and/or bathing suits (of any size) and in exchange for your recycled items, we are happy to provide you with a 20% discount.

I'M READY TO UPCYCLE!
